Flight Attendants are safety professionals. Below is a roster of Flight Attendant’s essential job functions. Please consider and discuss these functions with your Flight Attendant patient prior to prescribing medications.  

  • Ensure the safety of all passengers
  • Operate all emergency equipment, including doors/slides
  • Safely evacuate full aircraft in 90 seconds or less
  • Administer first aid & CPR, assist medical providers (s) 
  • Frequent balancing, standing & walking
  • Remain vigilant all times for security threats
